HOW DO I ORDER REPLACEMENT SLIPCOVERS / CUSHIONS?
We are not currently manufacturing replacement slipcovers, cushions, or other furniture related items. Please inquiring locally or with a vendor of your choice to source fabric and labor. We are unable to disclose vendor sourcing information. We apologize for the inconvenience.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ITEMS?
The following recommended care instructions pertain to items purchased exclusively via shabbychic.com. Please take caution when caring for your items and refer to the manufacturer's care instructions above all else. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® is not liable for improper use, cleaning, care, damage, or otherwise.
SLIPCOVERS
We caution our customers with improper cleaning, treating or neglect of their coverings. We recommend washing in cold/warm water on gentle cycle, using a mild detergent, and tumble dry low heat. For White Denim coverings, best to remove at 80% dryness, apply to furniture, and air dry the remaining 20% (making application a bit easier). Large capacity machines are suggested. Use non-chlorine bleach only when needed. It is recommended that you clean the complete ensemble to reduce color variances. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® is not responsible for color fading and recommends keeping slipcovers/upholstery out of direct sunlight. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® does not recommend the use of fabric protection agents or chemicals. We are not responsible for stains, slubbing, pilling, lint/dust and/or damage including but not limited to lotions, creams, acids, solvents, dyes, inks, paint, improper cleaning, corrosive chemicals, bodily fluids, etc.
CUSHIONS / INSERTS
Professional cleaning is recommended for furniture cushions and bedding/accessory inserts to promote life span and quality. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® furniture cushions include a ticking cover made of 100% cotton. Ticking covers are not to be washed and will shrink if laundered.
UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE
Professional cleaning is recommended for all upholstered furniture, including upholstered frames for slipcovered furniture.
LEATHER UPHOLSTERY
For regular care and cleaning, dust periodically with a dry cloth to remove residual dust and prevent dirt from building up. No harsh cleaners or solvents should ever be used on the leather, as they could abrade the finish or topcoat off the article. For stubborn stains and spills, a lightly damp cloth with warm water should be blotted on the stain to lift and remove it. This should never be done heavily or in a scrubbing motion. Seek professional care for stubborn stains.
BEDDING
Machine wash cold, normal cycle, and tumble dry medium to low heat. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed and only color safe detergents. It is also recommended that you clean the complete ensemble to avoid any color variances. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® recommends keeping bedding out of direct sunlight is not responsible for damage or fading due to washing or improper care/use. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® is not responsible for stains, slubbing, pilling, lint/dust and/or damage including but not limited to lotions, creams, acids, solvents, dyes, inks, paint, improper cleaning, corrosive chemicals, bodily fluids, etc.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
Order confirmations and tracking updates are sent to the email address provided at checkout at the time of purchase. Please check inbox, spam, junk, and promotions folders. Communication will come from customerservice@shabbychic.com.
If tracking confirms item(s) delivered but your parcel is missing, please file a claim with the appropriate courier (UPS, USPS, etc.). We are unable to file lost or stolen claims on behalf of the customer.
HOW DO I INITIATE A RETURN?
The return window for orders placed prior to December 15, 2025 has passed. All items purchased on or after this date are final sale. Returns are no longer accepted.
For products purchased outside of shabbychic.com, please inquire with the retailer from which the items were purchased. Rachel Ashwell® Shabby Chic® is not responsible for merchandise purchased at external retailers.
